Bike lessons

I spent lots of hours this last week with swimbikerun. Fourteen hours! Wow!
Sunday I rode 45 miles on the course. That's the farthest I have ever ridden so far. I really did not need to go fast. Just getting to know the course and working on those hills. I did get my first finger from a passing car who told me to move over. There was a good half mile of view of the road in front of me so they had plenty of room to pass me. This car yelled at me and gave me the finger. A big truck also honked at me as it passed by me also. Startled me! I'm starting to more understand about cars and bicyclists and the right of the road and common courteous. I always slow down and move over and far as I can away from bicycles, walkers and runners. People can be so rude.
