I took an easy week because it is not going to be easy for a long time. I decided to do a little of everything.
Sunday:off
Monday: Crossfit Zombie
5 rounds for time
10 sit-ups
10 push-ups
10 pull-ups
10 box jumps- 24# (I love my box! Thanks Jackie!)
Time=13:31
...Then 50 10# Dumbbell Squat Thrusters
Time=2:22
Crossfit Zombie called for 5 foot precisions but since it was morning, it was a loud jumping and my husband was sleeping. I didn't think of the thrusters till later.
Tuesday: Swim 54 laps=1450yards
I did some drills then just did lots of 100 yards then rest.
This is the first time getting ready at the high school. The swim team was there and it was funning getting ready for work with a bunch of pimply faced teen girls. Swim felt good. Next swim on Monday I need to do the 300y test. Ugg
Wed:Crossfit Open WOD
AMRAP in 10 minutes
60 Bar facing burpees
30 OHS 45# (Rx is 90# for women!)
10 Muscle-ups (I subbed 20 shoulder dips)
=90 + the 20 dips
Did a jump-rope double under warm-up prior to WOD. 5 minutes.
Thursday: Run
6:02 miles
Friday: I had a continuing education class all day. No work out.
Sat: Double WOD day(at home)
For time
4 rounds of:
25 barbell squat cleans 30#
Dumbbell bear crawls
25 Barbell thrusters 30#
Time=19:50
(This was the WOD for CFAI and I was not sure exactly what it was for the bear crawls so I took two 10# dumbbells and did the bear crawl for 50 yards. My dogs thought I was going to play with them.)
For time:
100 push-ups
100 sit_ups
100 squats
Time=13:25
A year ago, before I started Crossfit, I did a ramp-up 6 week work-out for 100 push-ups. At the end of the 6 weeks the final test was 100 push-ups. I ended up doing 50 on my toes but had to finish the last 50 on my knees. Today I did all of them on my toes! Getting stronger. The time for the push-ups was 6:22. I did not write down my time last year. Just doing them was enough.
Indoor bike trainer:
30 minutes at light cadence and finished with CF Endurance 30 on, 30 off, 30 on, 25 off, 30 on, 20 off, 30 on, 10 off, 30 on. Low gear, standing up.
Tonight going to have pizza with my office then the Washington Stealth Lacrosse game. Their in the playoffs!!!
That beer and pizza is going to taste so good. This is going to be the last big non-Paleo meal for a while. I have to go back to my 90/10. The past month I have been probably 70/30. The cheese is going to kill me. I bought my probiotics but will still suffer tomorrow. It's going to be a bloated swim come Monday. At least I will stay afloat.
