No time to get sick!

Mondays AM swim was good. Recovery and worked on skills and drills. I did not have much energy for anything else. Thanks coach! Since Tuesdays are my first double days of the week, I decided to start my morning at 4am. Half an hour earlier than usual. I got my trainer and bike ready the night before. It figures. I woke up about half a dozen times in the night for some unknown reason and had a sore throat as well. Crap! I'm getting sick!

Tuesday: Bike AM
1:15
Wu and Cd with 1 minute of sprints every 10 minutes.
I was not feeling god at work. Sneezing. I needed to go to a class for three hours after work but canceled and went home and made dinner and went to bed early. I really like to go to the classes held at Willows Lodge. Good food! And I make sure they have gluten free provided for me. It's the closest I can get them to do Paleo without being to much of a butt.
No run for me. Hills can wait.

Wednesday: Off
I was going to do my Tuesday run but still feel sick. I had to work though.

Thursday: Run
1:11 = 7 miles with Wu and Cd on my hilly course in my neighborhood.

Friday: Swim
The plan was to do and endurance swim.
1:30 = Wu + 4x400's + 100 easy swim between sets = 92 laps/2300 yards
Planned on doing one more 400 but ran out of time.
*Chatted with a guy in the lane next to me who has done the Lake Stevens 70.3 Ironman 4 times! Right now his biggest hard thing is the run. He has a bum knee. He gave me encouragement in my swim by reenforcement that the wetsuits will help me not to have to kick as much and give me more buoyancy. This made me feel better. Angel sitting.

Next I had to go to an all day class for work. I won't be getting a bike in in the sun. Finally have a nice day and I have to sit in class all day with no windows! Ugggg!

Saturday: 5k race and long bike
I have not ran a 5k race in almost two years. A patient of mine brought in the info for the UW-Bothell run a couple of months ago. I just can not say no! This was their six annual run and it was well done! Lots of support and volunteers and breakfast! A raffle prize. I won a shirt. (They also gave away eight pairs of running shoes. Boy, I need new shoes! I was so praying for them to call my number)
Time = 24:06- 3rd in age group (40-49), 11th overall female.
I did not PR but did ok. My voice is gone and I have a bad cough. I need more Crossfit too.
I did the long bike ride after leaving the race.
Biking on the Burke-Gilman Trail was awesome!
2:15 = 31.72 miles
I made it all the way to Gas Works Park! See my pictures above. Always have to get a picture of Seattle and the Space Needle.
Great biking trail. Lots of people today though with the sun finally breaking through. My voice is now very gone after that ride.

Sunday: I took off. I felt sh***y when I woke up this morning! Laid on the couch all morning and dozed with my chihuahua's. This next week is going to be a very busy tri week. Thirteen hours of training and I hope Mother Nature realizes this!
