Yesterday at CrossFit All In the WOD was "Angie". I had done it sometime ago and I had to be there and see how I have progressed. I love these kind of workouts where no weights are involved. It's just me working. "Angie" consists of 100 pull-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 100 air squats for time. I did the pull-ups and push-ups Rx and taped my fingers and palms in the car before going in the box. I wanted to be prepared. My hands on the sit-ups touched the ground above my head and below my feet.
Last time I did this workout was 12/2010 at a time of 26:25. Yesterday I did it in 22:51!! Yeah!
I am so glad that today was a Thursday and I only had to work till 1pm. My arms were dead! I felt like my arms were trying to fall off! I have swimming tomorrow night. Oh crap!
The CrossFit Games started with the first workout of the Open being posted last night at 5pm. Burpees!! 7 minutes of as many burpees you can possibly do! I'll have to do this on Sunday since my arms are disconnected. I didn't sign up for the games but I will do some of the work outs to see where I stand with the 45-49 year old women. I would like to compete someday but for now my sights are on Kona.
