Friday, March 25 2011

Woke up with very sore left heel. Nuts. To run or not to run. I went ahead and took the morning off and hoped my heel would feel better later in the day.
Well, when the afternoon came around my heel still hurt, even after Aleve.
I needed to run.
I ran to the gate and back:
3.01 miles at 26min.

Crap. Too slow. But oh well. I got to run.

Next did Crossfit WOD, "J.T"
“J.T” = 21-15-9
Handstand Push ups
Ring Dips (Did shoulder dips on kitchen counter)
Push ups
Time= 9.16

Group swim class at high school.
One hour. I sucked bad. Learning form. My heels now hit air when I kick but my stamina not so good. Mary had a few of us do the swim test.
2(3x100 yards with 30 sec rest)

When I got to my last 50 meters on the first set I freaked out. Out of breath and panicked that if I couldn't breath when I got to the deep end I would have issues.
Mary had me work on more drills instead. Sorry Mary for freaking out.
Hope to try the test again on Sunday or Monday.
I need more pool time prior to my triathlon training.
I may need to use my rowing machine tomorrow if I can't run. I hate that thing. But I love it.

Did some stretching and foam roller on legs.
